Analytics & Reporting
In short
What is marketing analytics and reporting?
Marketing analytics is the tracking and reporting that shows what your spend actually returns. We audit and fix GA4 and pixel tracking, agree conversion definitions with marketing and sales, set up attribution and build one dashboard. You get a measurement plan, a documented GTM container, a Looker Studio dashboard and a monthly report.
The problem
The problem this solves
Every platform reports its own flattering numbers; nobody knows which are real. Broken tracking, double counting and report theater mean decisions run on opinion while the data sits there, wrong.
Method
How we work
First we make the numbers true (audit, fix, verify), then make them useful: every metric on the dashboard maps to a decision someone actually takes. Reports state what changed, why, and what to do, in language a director reads without a translator.
When it fits
When this is the right call
Meta reports forty sales, Google reports thirty, and your order system counted fifty. Nobody can say who deserves the credit.
The Monday report is a GA4 screenshot pasted into a slide, and the question of what to do next goes unanswered.
An agency change reinstalled the pixel, and conversion history before that date looks like a different company.
Sales says the leads are junk, marketing says the funnel is fine, and each side reads a different spreadsheet.

Deliverables
What you receive
Tracking audit report
What fires, what fires twice, what never fires and where test traffic leaks in, page by page, each with a fix and a priority.
Measurement plan
Every conversion named, defined, located and owned in one document, signed by marketing and sales before the rebuild.
Documented GTM container
Tags, triggers and variables on one naming convention, every change versioned with a note, readable without a handover call.
GA4 property, wired and filtered
Key events marked, internal and test traffic excluded, channel groups matching how you actually buy media, retention at the maximum.
Looker Studio dashboard, spend to revenue
One shared view joining ad spend, sessions, leads and closed deals, with period comparison and a notes field for each change.
Monthly report template and reading guide
A fixed two-page format: what changed, why, what we recommend. The guide names the three numbers a director checks first.
Process
01 / 04
Audit
What is tracked, what is broken, what is double-counted.
02 / 04
Fix
Tracking rebuilt and verified against real transactions.
03 / 04
Dashboard
One agreed view of the funnel, from spend to revenue.
04 / 04
Rhythm
Monthly evidence review that ends in decisions, not slides.
Timeline
A first engagement, step by step
Week 1
Access to GA4, GTM, ad accounts and the CRM. We run the audit and show every finding live in the interface. You confirm which conversions matter.
Week 2
You approve the measurement plan. GTM is rebuilt in a workspace and every event tested against real orders and form fills before publishing.
Weeks 3-4
Dashboard built on corrected data. You comment on a mid-week draft; the version you approve is the one your team opens on Monday.
Month 2
First monthly review: thirty minutes, report on screen, ending in two or three decisions with an owner. There is now enough history to compare periods.
Measurement
What we measure
Tracked to recorded ratio
GA4 conversions divided by the comparable conversions recorded in your order system or CRM. We investigate differences in definitions, consent, tracking coverage and attribution before treating a gap as an error.
Untagged traffic share
Sessions arriving with no source or campaign. When it grows, links are shared without UTMs and attribution is quietly decaying.
Time from question to answer
How long anyone in the company needs to answer a spend or funnel question from the dashboard alone. Minutes, not a request to us.
Cost per agreed outcome by channel
Spend divided by the conversions sales agreed to count, not clicks or sessions, so channels are compared on one unit.
Proof
Evidence, not adjectives
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
I have GA4 installed. Isn't that enough?
Installing GA4 does not confirm that events and conversions are configured correctly. We check for duplicate events, missing conversions and test traffic, then document the issues and the limits of the available data.
Which tools do you use for dashboards?
Usually Looker Studio on top of GA4 and ad platforms: free and shareable. Heavier stacks only when data volume genuinely requires them.
Can you measure offline sales too?
Where a CRM or sales log exists, yes: we connect ad data to real deal stages so campaigns are judged on customers, not clicks.
Is this a project or a monthly service?
Both. The audit, rebuild and dashboard are a fixed-scope project. The monthly rhythm is a retainer, priced by the number of data sources and the depth of analysis beyond the report. Server-side tagging and CRM connections change the project side; extra platforms change the monthly one.
What do I need to provide, and how long until the dashboard is real?
Admin access to GA4, GTM, each ad platform and your CRM or order export, plus one person who can confirm what a real conversion is. With access on day one, corrected tracking usually takes two weeks; the dashboard follows once there is clean data worth reading.
Can't I just read the ad platforms' own dashboards?
You can, and each will say it caused most of your sales. Platforms grade their own homework: a conversion is claimed whenever they touched the customer, so the totals exceed what you sold. An independent view is the only place the numbers must agree.
