Social Media Management
In short
What is social media management?
Social media management is running a brand's channels as a system instead of posting when there is time. We give each channel a role, build a format system and a monthly calendar, produce design, copy and short video, publish, and handle comments and messages by playbook. You get a monthly report on what worked and what changes.
The problem
The problem this solves
Social channels punish inconsistency and reward systems. Most businesses run them in stolen hours: posting when there is time, borrowing whatever style is trending, and never knowing whether any of it sells.
Method
How we work
We run channels on owned formats with a fixed cadence, so the feed compounds recognition instead of chasing trends. Comments and messages are handled by playbook with agreed response rules, and every month the numbers decide which formats live, die or scale.
When it fits
When this is the right call
Your last three posts were made by three different people and a visitor could not tell they came from the same company.
Comments and messages sit unanswered for days because nobody owns them, and the ones that get answered get a different tone each time.
You post whenever a launch or a holiday forces it, then go quiet for weeks, and reach falls each time you return.
Your team has ideas but no formats, so every post starts from a blank canvas and takes an afternoon.

Deliverables
What you receive
Channel roles document
One page per platform stating its audience, its job in the funnel, its cadence and the formats it will never carry.
Format system with templates
A set of named, repeatable post formats with layout templates and copy frames, so production is assembly rather than invention.
Monthly editorial calendar with QA step
Every post dated and assigned, with a review checkpoint before scheduling so nothing publishes without a second pair of eyes.
Response playbook
Agreed replies for common questions, praise and complaints, escalation rules and response-time targets, written in the brand's voice.
Scheduled publishing setup
Channels connected to one scheduling tool with roles and approvals configured, so publishing does not depend on one person's phone.
Monthly evidence report
Reach, saves, shares and click-through per format, with the decisions taken: which formats continue, which change, which stop.
Process
01 / 04
Position
Each channel gets a job and an audience, not a copy of the others.
02 / 04
Systematize
Formats, templates and a calendar the cadence can actually sustain.
03 / 04
Operate
Production, publishing and community handled on a steady rhythm.
04 / 04
Review
Monthly evidence review steers formats and budget.
Timeline
A first engagement, step by step
Week 1
Audit of current channels, audience and competitors. We propose the channel roles and a first format system. You approve the direction.
Week 2
Templates built, playbook written, tools connected. The first two weeks of content go into the calendar for your review.
Weeks 3-4
Publishing starts on the agreed cadence. Community is handled by playbook from day one; anything sensitive reaches you the same day.
Month 2
First evidence review. Formats are kept, adjusted or retired on the numbers, and the second month's calendar is built on that.
Measurement
What we measure
Saves and shares per post
Both mean someone found the post worth keeping or passing on. Likes are cheaper and say less.
Reach among non-followers
Tells us whether formats travel beyond the existing audience, which is the only way a channel grows honestly.
Median response time
How long a comment or message waits. Median, because one fast reply should not hide twenty slow ones.
Profile visits to site clicks
How many people who looked closer actually left for the site. This connects the feed to the funnel.
Proof
Evidence, not adjectives
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which platforms do you manage?
Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube, usually two or three of them done properly rather than five done thinly. The strategy stage picks the mix.
Who answers comments and messages?
Depends on the scope: we can handle community fully by playbook, share it with your team, or hand over trained processes. Sensitive cases always escalate to you.
Do you guarantee follower growth?
We do not promise a specific number of followers. We agree a work plan, publishing schedule and measures that connect content performance to your business goals.
How is the monthly scope set, and what changes the price?
Scope is fixed by channel count, posting cadence, how much original video is produced each month and who handles community. Adding a platform or moving from design posts to shot video changes the price; a busier month of messages usually does not.
What do you need from me to start?
Admin access to the accounts, your brand system, product photography or a shoot slot, and one person who can approve content within two working days. Slow approvals are the most common reason a calendar slips.
I already have someone posting in-house. Why would I need you?
Keep them. We usually take the system, formats and reporting and leave day-to-day posting or community with the person who knows the customers best. The split is written into the scope.
